TACO! three pamphlet bundle
A discounted bundle of pamphlets commissioned, printed and published by TACO! to accompany three exhibitions over the past year. It includes Hesse K.'s Resuscitator, Eve Esfandiari-Denney's The Day Sketch Document: LA Madeleine in Increments of Being via Voicenote and Samuel Fisher's Make More Visible.
Resuscitator is a text run through by gutters, all leading to a burned-out wreck. Language, quivering in an alley, fills these spaces like smoke and says “There are no private streets just as there are no private bodies.”
The Day Sketch Document: LA Madeleine in Increments of Being via Voicenote. Look how instinctively serene my swan is. Dream images cascade, or the real accelerates: what is bird, what is soul, what is stuff, what is chill, abject, and obliterating, Eve’s text impresses upon us the girly raptures of self-knowledge via voice note.
"I am full of asbestos. I am a cathedral of microplastics. I am a blotting pad for emollients. I am the Judo laureate. I am bilgewater. I am muck and sediment. I am aggregate. I am in the zone." In Samuel Fisher’s Make more visible, the river’s vein slops, steel and silicone through the city. Matter jostles up against narrative. Tune in. The message is broadcast.
