A river. A flood of water and light to swim through. Two hundred and fifty-six photographs documenting urban water ecologies of the river Thames.
For two years, Croxson ran along the Thames in Deptford, London, photographing the river throughout the seasons. These photographs were developed, scanned and compiled to map the relationship between water and light on the river.
Each book is a river. The river represents the deep ecological time of the city, forming past and future spatial boundaries that define our shared environment.
